The Swedesboro-Woolwich PTO welcomes the SWSD community back to school for the 2020-2021 school year. Our PTO is a collaborative group of SWSD parents, teachers, and administrators working together to enhance the overall student experience at each elementary school building in our district. This organization has an outstanding history of volunteerism, fundraising, event sponsorship and student/staff support throughout the year. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this year will certainly look different for us all. Our 2020-2021 PTO Board Members have been working to create new and exciting fundraising and event opportunities for our district taking into consideration our current restrictions. We appreciate any support you can provide as our mission remains the same. Becoming a member of this organization provides you a vote in decision making at our monthly Board meetings, keeps you informed of our activities through our E-Newsletter (The PTO Press), and will keep you up-to-date through email communications from our PTO Board Members as needed. It also offers you the opportunity to volunteer for events coordinated by this organization and facilitates involvement in your child's school experiences. At the start of the year, there will be no PTO volunteer opportunities available inside the school buildings as a result of COVID-19. This includes Room Parent placements. As a registered PTO member, you will receive notice via email should this change. Monthly PTO Meetings will be virtual until school fully reopens.
