The BC Summer Games are taking place July 18-21, 2024 in Maple Ridge.  We are participating in Co-Ed Box Lacrosse and Co-Ed Youth Field Lacrosse, this year we will be accepting player applications for all genders (each applicant will have equal opportunity to tryout to make a Zone Summer Games team). The Box Lacrosse age group is 15 and 16 years of age and Field Lacrosse is 14 and 15 years of age.

• Players who have not applied by the deadline date will NOT be permitted to try out for the Zone.

• Players must be born in 2008-2009 (Box) and 2009-2010 (Field)

• Players must be registered with BC Lacrosse Association for the 2024 Box Lacrosse season and participated in the 2023-2024 Field Lacrosse season.

• Players must try out (and play) for the team representing the Zone in which they live. The only exception is for the Summer Games Indigenous Team (Box), as this team will be comprised of athletes selected from various Zones across the province.

• Players may be required to attend one or more try-out camps and there may be a fee assessed for the rental of the facility for try-outs.

• Players must fulfill their team commitments, as well as, Summer Games try outs.  

If selected, a $250 fee payable to the BCLA is needed to cover $75 Uniform fee and $175 to cover BC Summer Games fees. (The BC Games fees cover Team Transportation to and from the games and costs for food and lodging during the games)

• If selected, players are expected to behave in an exemplary manner at all times.

• Players are to follow the criteria, rules and eligibility requirements as set up by the BC Summer Games.

NOTE: An athlete can only tryout and participate in ONE of the BC Summer Games disciplines - Box or Field
