Anchorage PAIDEIA Cooperative School                  Monday Exploratory
This exploratory will run for 6 Mondays starting on 9/23 and ending 10/28.  The times will be 9:15-12.  Students should bring a snack with them.  The cost for the exploratories is $60 each which can be deducted from the student's allotment.  Space is limited to 15 students.

ONE STROKE STILL LIFE PAINTING (GRADES 4-8)
Come and explore one stroke painting techniques with acrylic on canvas to reproduce a still life painting with three dimensional touches.  Yuliya Helgesen-Thompson, the instructor has worked both as an artist and as an art instructor as well as a teacher in the Anchorage School District. Yuliya has shown her art in galleries all over Anchorage.  Her work has also appeared in Cirque Magazine for the past 5 years. She is also a founding member of the well-known Russian Dance Troupe, Sudarushka for which Yuliya has designed all of their original costumes.
