VeganFest Tasmania is returning on 5 March, 2022 (11am-9pm) at Princes Wharf 1 (PW1), Hobart. We are excited to bring the festival to Hobart with extended hours to showcase wonderful plant-based foods and products to a much bigger audience.

VeganFest Tasmania is a grassroots festival about all things vegan. We want to support and nurture Tasmanian ethical businesses and help them grow and prosper, whilst spreading the word that veganism is a compassionate, healthy and environmentally friendly lifestyle.

Submission of this application form is not a guarantee of acceptance. The VeganFest Tasmania organisers will assess all applications on merit and according to our criteria, and let you know whether or not your application has been accepted.

We are looking for vegan businesses and people who would love to share what they do. If you are a vegetarian with a vegan business or product, or have mostly vegan products, you can apply too.

FOOD & BEVERAGE - Vegan food and beverage businesses, or vegetarian food businesses willing to go 100% vegan for the day.

VEGAN PRODUCTS - If you are a maker of goods that provide a great alternative to animal products, such as shoes, handbags, and cosmetics, we want you!

PLANT AND VEGETABLE GROWERS – local fruits, vegetables, herbs and garden favourites (grown with veganic principles).

VEGAN OWNERS AND OPERATORS - Businesses operated by vegans that sell and/or use vegan-friendly goods, this could be anything from hairdressers to tattoo and makeup artists, dressmakers to yoga instructors!

ANIMAL CHARITIES AND ADVOCACY GROUPS - including animal sanctuaries.

OTHER - Anything else vegan friendly you can think of!

START UP BUSINESSES - We will be offering assistance in all aspects of becoming a stallholder with VeganFest Tasmania. Please feel free to get in touch and discuss your particular circumstances.

Help! I don't fit your criteria:

Our purpose is to promote veganism, and support like-minded businesses. Stalls that clearly fit our criteria will be given priority. If you don't fit the above criteria but would like to be at VeganFest, please get in touch at: hello@veganfesttas.com.au

These are just the basics! More details will be provided in the welcome pack. This will be sent to you if your application is successful.
 
For the first time VeganFest will extend into the evening. We want to help all food and beverage vendors who may not be accustomed to long events to provide sufficient catering throughout the day. We will have an experienced Food Vendor Liaison who will be in contact to assist you. Note that refrigeration is available on-site for food / drink stalls.

We would like all stallholders to stay on site for the duration of the festival.

Everything on sale or display at VeganFest must be vegan.

The standard stall size for indoor stalls is 3m x 3m. If you require a larger space, please note this in your application. There may be an additional fee.

Stalls will be expected to have a high standard of presentation. If you have concerns about meeting this expectation, please contact us for assistance.

Food and beverage stalls shall provide reusable or compostable containers. Other vendors should aim to have reusable / compostable / recyclable packaging, and no plastic waste.

Friday bump-in may be available by arrangement. More details will be available in our welcome pack which will be sent to successful applicants.

Stall fees:
$350 Food/drink stall with marquee or van/truck
$250 Food/drink stall serving pre-prepared food/drink
