We have created a a fun Snap AR Lens Challenge to expose you to augmented reality (AR) and design. The Lens Challenge takes you through a series of tutorials to help you learn how to use the Lens Studio platform through engaging activities to help you design a custom Lens.

ABOUT THE SNAP AR LENS CHALLENGE

Interested in design, 2D and 3D modeling, or engineering? Ever wondered how your favourite Lenses on Snapchat work? Want to create your own Snapchat Lens to share with your friends?

The Snap Augmented Reality Lens Challenge (ARLC) is a free eight-lesson virtual program for students (aged 16+) in the UK. It has been specially designed to support creatives (like you) build their own Snapchat Lenses.

✦ Learn how to build a Snapchat Lens from scratch by participating in 8 online tutorials and design exercises with guided support
✦ Meet with a Snap Lens Network Creator by attending exclusive virtual workshops with people who design AR Lenses for a living (and get paid to do it)
✦ Level up your design skills by creating your own Lens as part of your final Lens submission; oh, and win prizes too!

Multiple prizes, which are announced during the Lens Challenge, are offered to the winners of the Final Lens Showcase for each Challenge.

You are welcome to participate regardless of previous experience. If you have digital design experience, we especially encourage you to attend.
