S.Y.N.C. Creatives Application Form

Art Clubbers is back with S.Y.N.C!

An exciting programme providing training, opportunity and progression to budding creatives.

Funded by Westfield Creative Fund (with Foundation for Future London), S.Y.N.C. Creatives bring an innovative solution to embed transferable skills into budding creatives!

Immersive Course

We are looking to invite 50 young people from the 4 growth boroughs (Newham, Hackney, Tower Hamlets & Waltham Forest), in East London, to join our immersive course which we will support you to kick start or develop your career!

The 6 week immersive course is FREE and is filled with over 50 free workshops, panel talks and sessions delivered predominantly online (with a couple of in-person sessions throughout the course) by various industry professionals, experts and art business owners. This is designed for individuals between 18-30 years old, with a solid interest or background in arts & culture, to support them as creative practitioners.

Each session is 1 hour long and will cover a range of entrepreneurial, employable skills.

Contents include:

- arts & culture enterprise
- business planning and structuring
- marketing and branding guidance
- finance & funding
- personal development
- other transferable skills etc.

Final Showcase

Upon completion of the 6 week immersive course, you will be invited to present your work at a final showcase in East London.

Just like a creatives fair, you can showcase your work and learnings from the programme where our funders Foundation for Future London, local businesses and creatives alike are invited to spectate. This will be an opportunity to not only network with peers/like minded individuals, connect with local businesses but to also celebrate your achievements at the end of the programme!

Other goodies from joining the course

Digital Badges:

We have partnered with Badge Nation to give our cohort of 50 the opportunity to apply for digital badges to recognise & acknowledge your development of transferable skills upon completion of the programme’s criterias. These badges can be displayed on your CV, websites, Linkedin etc.

Underpinned membership:

We have also partnered with Underpinned, a platform for creatives to find work and connect with others whilst enjoying an array of resources and toolsets to support project management especially as freelancers. We will offer our cohort of 50, free memberships for 1 year to access this support!
