This camp is open to students who have either taken the beginner-intermediate camp or who have played chess in a club before. Please contact me if you aren't sure if your child is ready for this camp. All material and examples are different from the previous intermediate/advanced camp, while the concepts remain the same.

Students will practice:

+tactical combinations

+endgame techniques to win: BBK, K + P

+different ways to make a draw

+checkmate puzzles and patterns

+opening theory and specific lines

+positional ideas, planning, and strategies

+analysis of Grandmaster games

+review of games played by students

We meet every day from 9am-11am with a break for yoga.
