Our Stories Form
When one of our Davis Scholars had just began their Wellesley College journey,  they were asked by a traditional student, "What's your Story?"  Another year, a Davis Scholar participated in "Let Me Speak" which is a performance presented during orientation. The performers share their stories touching on topics such as socioeconomic status, race, age, learning disabilities, sexual orientation, gender identity, mental health in a comfortable and respectful environment. These two experiences led us to the understanding that EVERYONE has a story and we would love to have the Continuing Education/Davis Scholars share theirs.

Help celebrate what we share – Wellesley – and the ways in which our unique experiences enrich our community. We want to highlight members of CE/DS as part of our monthly newsletter content, or in future live/virtual programming. We hope you will share your path to Wellesley and how your CE/DS experience has shaped your life.

In September, just after the incoming Davis Scholars complete orientation, we would like to host a informative gathering of Alumnae, Current Davis Scholars, and Incoming Davis Scholars. We hope to have a panel of Alums who may share their stories and give sound advice they wish they knew as they began their Wellesley Collage journey as a non-traditional student. We would like to create a bridge of connectivity between students, soon to be graduating DS, and CE/DS Alumnae. We encourage participation!
Do you have any advice for the CE/DS students of today?
Would you be willing to participate in an event between alumnae and Davis Scholar students in September?  Date and time to be determined. (Probably September 10th or 11th). *
