Every year google sponsors for students to be involved in opensource communities. I have done this for the past 4 years with one of my projects (PEcAn) and gotten some amazing results. The students will get paid by google to work on an opensource project of their liking, and we as the owners/contributors of the opensource project get new code, and more importantly, this could lead to new developers for your project.I'm planning to submit an application this year as NCSA to GSOC.

The deadline is Feb 19 (1pm), but I'd like to get most of the material ready by Feb 12.
