Sebring Christmas Parade will be held on Saturday, December 3, 2022
Tree Lighting Ceremony at 5:30 PM
Parade Kick Off at 5:45 PM- participants can begin to line up at 4:00 PM
ALL FLOATS ARE TO BE LINED UP BY 5:15 PM

Please Read and Confirm that Your Organization will follow all of the Rules

For safety reasons, NO THROWING OF CANDY OR OTHER ITEMS FROM VEHICLES OR FLOATS.  Items may be distributed by adults walking along the parade route.  Obviously, this is to prevent any injuries to children running into the street for candy, etc.

NO UNIT IS TO HAVE A PERSON IN COSTUME DEPICTING SANTA CLAUS!    We don't wish to confuse children by having more than one Santa.  

 The Christmas Committee has the right to deny or accept any application for entry into the parade for reasons determined by the committee.

ONLY INTERMITTENT SIRENS WILL BE PERMITTED DURING THE PARADE. However we ask that you are considerate of the other units (Bands, etc.).  Please do not drown out the music or entertainment of another unit.

ONLY CHILDREN 13 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER MAY WALK THE PARADE ROUTE ALONG WITH A MOVING VEHICLE.   Children of all ages are permitted to participate while riding on a float or if their unit is strictly a walking unit (no vehicle involved).

FOR SAFETY REASONS, NO RIFLE DRILL TEAM MAY DISCHARGE THEIR WEAPONS AT ANY TIME.

THIS IS A CONTINUOUSLY MOVING PARADE.    Stopping to perform along the parade route will not be permitted.

On December 3, 2022, Parade Registration begins at 4:00pm and Parade Begins at 5:45 pm. To ensure excellence in presentation and efficiency in coordination, placement within the parade lineup is at the discretion of The Sebring Christmas Parade Committee. This group also reserves the right to refuse participation at any time before or during the parade. Line-up begins at 4:00 pm. Judging will begin at 5:15 pm. Participation in the parade is conditioned upon and subject to the entry owner’s assuming all risks of injury or damage to person or property arising from his/her/its participation. Entry owner assumes all responsibility and liability for any such injury or damage; and waives, releases, and holds harmless the Sebring Christmas Parade Committee and the Village of Sebring, their representatives and volunteers, from any such risks or claims.

An Email will be sent with a Parade Registration Form to be completed and turned in at the time of registration on December 3, 2022.  This Form will be what the emcees for the Parade use to introduce your group to the center of town. On December 3, 2022, Parade Registration begins at 4:00pm and Parade Begins at 5:45 pm
