During the virtual Synergy Conference 2020, participants will have the opportunity to engage in the Science Take-Out, "An Unhealthy Home", STEM kit. In this kit, participants will follow the case of a family that is suffering from persistent fatigue, respiratory problems, headaches, and mild nausea that began when they moved to an older home. Participants will perform and analyze simulated strep tests, blood tests, lead tests, and mold tests to determine possible causes for the family's symptoms. The "An Unhealthy Home" kit was created as a part of a grant Science Take-Out received from the National Institute of Health (NIH).
