I am infinitely thankful for the freedom that I have to make my own decisions with regards to my own health and wellness. Natural dangers. *

I am aware that it is extremely common to come across bear, mountain lions, and rattle snakes on these trails. I will educate myself on these natural dangers. I will stay vigilant, and aware of my surroundings and these dangers at all times, particularly while on foot. I choose to run on these trails despite these dangers and accept responsibility for my own safety. I am aware that management has decided to start my event later (in the morning) than the AERC events, in hopes that the horse traffic will flush wildlife off the trails.
