We are requesting your participation in the following very brief survey about the use of ESSER (COVID Relief) funds. Whiteville City Schools was provided funding for COVID relief over the past three years. With these funds, Whiteville City Schools hired additional teachers to lower class size, hired interventionists and additional teacher assistants, purchased software programs to help with learning loss and data collection, and provided professional development for teachers as they faced the struggles of student learning loss and increased student social and emotional issues. The funds were also used to purchase technology devices and equipment to ensure all students had access to attend school remotely during the pandemic in the 2020-2021 school year. Many students chose the A/B schedule that year, attending school two days per week, while other students chose 100% remote instruction.
Even if your child enrolled in Whiteville City Schools after the COVID pandemic, he/she still reaped the benefits of the COVID relief funds such as lower class size, interventionists, computers, classroom equipment, software, etc. So please take a few moments to provide your feedback.
Please complete the brief survey below. This information will assist us in documenting the various purchases and activities funded by ESSER (COVID Relief) funds.
