Knowing When to Quit - The Podcast Edition
*UPDATE: I am now recording Series 1 and will be contacting people for Series 2 after Easter.*
Calling all Quitters, past and present - I'd love to hear your stories!
In 2017 I started researching for my TEDx 'Knowing when to Quit' and was inundated by stories about quitting, many of which had never been shared before.
People don't tend to ask us about when we've quit - and so these stories can be buried in shame, even though tales of quitting usually demonstrate immense courage and commitment to self.
In the past few years I've become fascinated with what is really going on when we want to quit, and how we navigate that decision. Sometimes a small action can help us fall back in love with a project; sometimes we just need permission to walk away. Ultimately wanting to quit is a signal to reevaluate our lives in some way.
Now I'm back with a podcast where I am going to invite people to share their quitting stories or 'Quituations'. Some episodes will be live coaching sessions (if it's a current issue), some will be a chance to look back and reflect.
My dream is for this podcast to be a guiding light and go-to manual for people who are feeling overwhelmed by whether to quit or not, and a big carthasis for the people sharing their stories.
I want to do to Quitting what Brene Brown has done to Vulnerability - and I'd love you to join me.
I'm looking for a range of people and stories to be featured on the podcast and I will be in touch if you're a good fit for the first series.
Thank you and can't wait to share this topic with you.
