Hello and thank you for your interest in the Student Broadcasting Association's inaugural Film Race. You and your team will have three days to shoot and edit a short film. These three days are Friday, November 19th at 7 PM through Sunday, November 21st at 7 PM. Each film will be assigned the same theme and object that must be incorporated to qualify. This theme and object will be announced on November 18th at 7 PM. You will receive an email from sbafilmrace@gmail.com with the theme and object. Please be sure to check your spam and junk folder if you do not find this email the first evening of the competition. You will also receive instructions on film submission from this email.

This competition is open to all RSU students and local community members.

Each film must reach at least 2 minutes to qualify, and may not exceed 10 minutes. Please consider that the content of your film will be under the discretion of judges. If the content is deemed too extreme or inappropriate by the judges, it will not be screened at the showcase. There will be three awards given at the showcase: First place, runner-up, and people's choice. These awards will be announced on December 2nd in the Baird Hall Performance Studio on the RSU Claremore Campus at 7 PM. We ask that each team have at least one member present at the showcase in the event they receive an award.
