Set-up location FOR PARADE IS  the Eliot Boat Basin (aka Dead Duck)                             90 Hammond Ln, Eliot, ME 03903
Parade Line-Up Schedule:
      Vehicles arrive 9 - 9:30 am
      Participants arrive 9 - 9:45 am
      Line-up to establish order for the grandstand 10 - 10:15am
     Step off onto RT 103 10:30am!!

Parade Participation Guidelines:

Please be respectful of the Parade Chairman and staff--they are volunteers!

Be respectful of the parade participants in front of and behind you.

NO THROWING of CANDY or any materials allowed. You may HAND OUT candy to parade observers, if you wish.

Please pause in front of the reviewing stand so that we may announce your entry. Provide that information below.

As Eliot Festival Day is NOT a political event, there are Additional Limitations for Political Participants:

1. Each party may have NO MORE THAN FIVE Candidates/Incumbents represented in the parade.  Representation is either on sign(s) or candidates walking/riding in-person in the parade.

2. No political pamphlets/information/campaign material may be handed out to parade observers; you may hand out literature at your party's booth only.

3. Active campaigning is allowed at your party's booth only.

How to Apply
Fill out and submit this application electronically OR download the pdf application from the parade webpage and mail it to the address listed along with your waiver.

On the parade webpage download, fill in, and sign the pdf of the  Waiver of Liability  You may bring the Waiver with you to the parade, mail it to the address listed or email it to  EliotFestivalDays@gmail.com ( Put Parade in the subject line) before September 26, 2024  

To be included on our website (www.EliotFestival.com) and our Facebook and Instagram pages while we advertise the upcoming Festival, email your organization’s logo (.jpg please) to EliotFestivalDays@gmail.com (Parade in the subject line)
