Hi Everyone! You're looking at the ERTC 2023 Survey. This is a way for the Executive of the club to get a feel for what everyone is thinking and feeling about some of the changes we've made to ERTC, as well as a way to guide any future decisions we make. We're looking for your opinions on what to change, so please help us out! It's gonna be pretty barebones, but hopefully it'll get everything across. All answers are anonymous so feel free to speak your mind. This survey should only take a couple minutes, so please try to finish. You are not required to finish any question so skip if you are uncomfortable answering.

Are you satisfied by the weekly ride options currently available during the season?

Why did you join ERTC? If you are a returning member, why did you stay? (Check all that apply)

It is a place where I can ride my bicycle with a group, learn skills, and gain fitness, as necessary.

It is a place where I can meet new people who share a common interest.

It is a place where I can train for races, and a team to help support me in races.

I just really, really, really like riding my bike.

It is a place where I can ride in a safe space.

The jerseys are pretty snazzy and I like matching kit.

Where do you see want to ERTC headed in the coming years?

I see us as a social club with bicycles.

I see us as a competitive race-oriented club.

I see us as a little bit of A and a little bit of B. We might not be the fastest out there, but we are going to damn well try! We take bicycles and hanging out pretty seriously and can hold our own.

How do you feel about the social events for ERTC? (Noting that we've toned them back for obvious reasons)

We have social events?

I would love to attend but life gets in the way.

They are great!

I don't think they are a good use of club funding.

What do you think about our current kit offerings (Bottles, Jerseys, Shorts, etc.)? Are there any piece of kit you would like to see that we don't currently offer? How is the quality, fit, pricing?

Who do you think mentored you best as a rider this year? This can be anyone in the club. It can be for anything big or small. All the mentors you pick will be recognized at the AGM. Feel free to choose one more than one person if you want.

What is your opinion regarding the current club fees?

Our fees are too high. I don't mind a reduction in services for lower fees.

Our fees are just right. I enjoyed the amount of services I got for my money.

Our fees are too low (compared to other clubs). I would like to increase what the club can do for me in exchange for fees.
