Risen Christ Sacramental Prep Workshops for Middle & High School Students, 2020-2021
With the adoption of the Restored Order of the Sacraments of Initiation by the Archdiocese of Denver, most students now receive both confirmation and First Holy Communion in the third grade. For practical purposes, this means there are fewer students receiving these sacraments in middle and high school as had been the norm in the past.

In the time of a pandemic, this transition has the added benefit of naturally reducing class sizes and facilitating social distancing! We'll be meeting in person the 1st Sunday of the month from 10 AM to 11 AM, beginning January 3, 2021. Monthly attendance is mandatory; more than one absence may require meeting with Fr. Scott Bailey to determine eligibility and preparedness for sacramental reception. In the event of illness or a government-issued stay-at-home order, other activities or means of participation may be substituted with the approval of the Sacramental Preparation director.

The Sacramental Mass celebrating Confirmation and, for those who need it, First Holy Communion, is scheduled for Saturday, May 8, 2021 at 6:30 PM.

Families attending in person must agree to abide by Archdiocesan health screening guidelines and execute the Participant Acknowledgment of Risk and Commitment.
