Please use this form to request technical assistance.

As a general guideline, we would recommend re-starting the KVCS Chromebook at least once/week to clear out "old" data and help your device function better. Closing the lid only puts it into sleep mode.  Shutting down fully or restarting is a good first step to see if it helps resolve your issue.
**Make sure you know your kvschool.org password so you can log back in!

*Before submitting a form* - please check the following if you are having a Zoom or Canvas issue:

*Canvas:
Please make sure you are using the KVCS Canvas site.  The Canvas that is general will not work for our users or for password resets.  You should see a bald eagle on our Canvas page, here:  https://kvschool.instructure.com
Please also make sure to spell student email addresses correctly.  It won't work for a login or password reset if anything is misspelled or incorrect.  You may wish to copy/paste email address and password from another document if that is helpful.

*Zoom
Before requesting help with Zoom, please make sure you have the most current link.  This is available in Canvas on the teacher's site.  The links are sometimes changed, so prior links in email may not be the most current, and you may sit and wait for a meeting to start if you have an old link.

Please contact the teacher if you are having registration issues.  The teachers manage their Zoom accounts, so the tech team can only be of minimal help with Zoom.

If you are repeatedly "kicked out" of Zoom meetings, this is likely an internet connectivity issue.  This may be more of a problem if multiple people are using the internet at your location. You may also need to check with your internet provider if you are experiencing connectivity issues.

If you are having feedback issues when using Zoom, this may be due to audio problems within the room where Zoom is being used.  One solution may be using headphones to reduce the amount of sound the microphone picks up. You may want to consider if there is another, quieter location for using Zoom. Please request headphones if needed. You can also check the volume level of the microphone on the Chromebook. Submit a form if you need help with that.
