Disability Recognition Award
In honor of October’s designation as Disability Awareness Month, the Mission Viejo Diversity + Inclusion Task Force is seeking nominations of businesses, organizations or individuals who provide exceptional services to people with disabilities for a special recognition. This year, we are also seeking employers who strive to hire from within the disability community.
 
Established in 2020, the task force consists of local volunteers who work to promote diversity and inclusion within Mission Viejo. To learn more, visit https://cityofmissionviejo.org/diversity-and-inclusion.
 
Nominations for those who go above and beyond to provide outstanding services to folks with disabilities are due by 5pm on Friday, September 30. Selected honorees will be recognized during the City Council’s October 11 meeting.
