OTA Code of Conduct is a statement of our shared values that helps us operate openly, honestly, and ethically. Though it doesn’t offer an answer for every situation, it provides the resources you need to make ethical decisions. Refer to it often, use good judgment, and always seek guidance.

- Respect diversity in each other, working toward full inclusion and accessibility for those in our community.

- Treat others with respect, inclusivity, and consideration, recognizing that this is a place for diversity of thought.

- Be solution-focused, seeing opportunities and possibilities in challenges instead of dwelling on past roadblocks.

- Conduct yourself, whenever possible, in a manner that is sensitive to the cultural and social traditions of communities with which we come into contact.

- Use good judgment to protect HOTA’s reputation in all interactions with each other and other Members of the community.

- Embrace a “Speak Up” culture to facilitate open communication and raise concerns without the fear of retaliation.

- Do what you say you will do and demonstrate accountability by supporting each other’s work.

- Find and resolve potential problems to help retain trust and protect HOTA’s future.

- Make decisions on an informed basis, in good faith, and in the honest belief that the action taken is in the best interest of HOTA.
