Why we share your bio with the audience: Because the people who don’t know you would like to know something about your theatre background and experience.  This is supposed to be professional and interesting to strangers and prospective members of the department.

What we don’t want to share: In-jokes that mean nothing to those outside your group.  Nonsense words or phrases.  Complaints of any kind.  Politics.

What we especially want to include: Your most recent or current theatre class here.  Previous AHS Theatre experience.  Theatre experience from other places.  Appreciation of family and friends who support your participation in the show.

Bios are written in the third person.

Cast, crew, orchestra and staff are invited to submit a short personal biography to be published in the playbill, provided enough playbill ads are sold, or posted on bulletin boards if enough ads are not sold.

Please keep your bios BRIEF, and without lengthy in-jokes that are understood by few others.

Information to include in your biography: your roles in this year’s productions, involvement in past shows, involvement in other school/extracurricular activities, good luck wishes, etc.
