AIALA Events Policy
To help improve the safety of our attendees, and based on current guidelines, we currently intend to require proof of vaccination  and a photo ID  upon entry. Attendees are considered “vaccinated” against COVID-19 two weeks after they  have received the second dose in a two-dose COVID-19 vaccine series (Pfizer-BioNTech or  Moderna), or two weeks after they have received a single-dose COVID-19 vaccine  (Johnson and Johnson (aka J&J)).
An attendee may show, along with photo identification:

1. their vaccination card OR
2. a photo of the attendee’s vaccination card as a separate document (including on  their phone or other device) OR
3. documentation of full vaccination from a healthcare provider that includes the  name of the person vaccinated and confirms that the attendee is fully vaccinated  against COVID-19.

If either of these criteria is not met or the person cannot show such documentation prior to  entry, the person is not considered fully vaccinated.

Should COVID-19 conditions improve significantly before the time of the conference, the  AIA|LA reserves the right to relax these requirements (and also to increase the  requirements should conditions worsen).

Upon attending the event, guests should immediately notify the AIALA if they a) test positive for COVID-19 within forty-eight (48) hours of attending; or (b) came within close contact, per the applicable guidelines, of a person who tested positive for COVID-19 and had this close contact with the positive individual  within forty-eight (48) hours of the event.
