2023 Rescue Maze Rules Survey Form
Please check the following modifications and new possible rules for 2023 Resuce Sim.

(1) FINAL SCORE =  80% of the total robot score + 10% of TDP, Engineering Journal and Interview + 10% Teamwork.

(Rubric for the TDP, Engineering Journal, Poster, and Teamwork will be available as well.)

(2) Heated Victims will be removed.

 *

(3) There won’t be any scoring item within wide open space within, e.g. >=2 tiles x 2 tiles. Open space means there are no walls inside. (the rationale: Since victims exist ONLY on walls,  if there is no wall at all in a wide open area, it defies logic to traverse the tiles with no walls.)

 *

(4)  There may be green carpet tiles (with very low pile). There won’t be victims on the wall with the carpet tile. (The rationale : This indicates “less desirable” path. This encourages team to conduct more intelligent navigation path when it recalculates.)
