The Turing Way - Book dash application
The Turing Way invites you to submit your application via this Google form to participate in the upcoming Book Dash taking place **online from 17-21 May 2021**.

The Turing Way Book Dash is a collaborative event where you'll work with others to add to and improve The Turing Way book and become a part of its community.

This form is open for:
- the first time attendees to send in their application describing where/how in the project and community they would like to contribute.
 - the previous Book Dash attendees to send their application expressing their interest to participate again as contributors and/or mentors. (A Book Dash mentor will be facilitating other attendees' contributions in one or multiple of the development sessions based on their interest and availability.)

Successful applicants and mentors will be able to claim **financial reimbursement to support their participation in the Book Dash** as laid out in the online chapter: https://the-turing-way.netlify.app/community-handbook/bookdash.html.

There are SO many people who have the expertise that The Turing Way project can benefit from. The **skills and contributions** that we're looking for include, but are not limited to:

 - tools, methods and case studies from reproducibility in Data Science
 - science communication skills: skills in writing, editing and/or exciting interactive communications
 - project design and management skills
 - approaches and principles for collaboration in data science
 - collaboratively writing new chapters
 - reviewing others contributions or editing the current chapters
 - updating how the book looks online (for example, website design, CSS, logos, layout)
 - documenting other contributions as illustrations or stories
