Oceans of Hope Challenge NZ 2024
This is the application form for our Oceans of Hope Challenge event onboard Lion New Zealand, one of the finest International Ocean Race maxi sloops ever built. We will be sailing from 25th November to 29th November 2024 around the islands of NZ's beautiful Harauki Gulf. The cost is $1430 (NZ) per person.

Participants will need to able to walk a few steps to access the boat and climb 6 steps (with rails) to access the boat interior.

You can bring a mobility aid to access the boat, but it's not possible to use or store a wheelchair/scooter onboard the boat.

You will contribute as a full crew member to the whole experience of sailing a boat and participate in the daily running of the boat including cleaning and cooking with fellow crew mates. You must be willing to share the boat and the cabin with people that don't necessarily share your own religious or political convictions. Living on a boat requires patience and generosity towards others. 

For safety reasons there will be no alcohol or smoking/vaping on the boat.
