It's really important that we get a lot of time in our church community to just come and receive. When we miss these times of receiving, church life can become tiresome and unsustainable. This opportunity for rest and refreshing is only possible if everyone takes their turn in giving a service of love to the community. Let's make sure that our default mode is showing up to receive so that we have something to give on those weeks when it's our turn to give back what we've received from God.

That said, we know that people have lives outside of church, and some weeks we know that we'll just not be able to be present.

Let's be proactive in planning for those times so that last-minute schedule swaps are minimized!
