This year's event takes place from Friday 27th September until Sunday 29th September, so if you pitch, you should be available to do your event during this weekend. We will email everyone who pitches to let you know if your pitch is successful and we'd like to feature it in the conference. Do keep in mind that decisions will be based on attendee interests and factors like balance in the programme etc more so than any qualitative factor, so if we decide not to include your pitched event, it's in no way a reflection of what we think of it. I'm certain we'll get way more brilliant pitches than we can accommodate, but please don't let that deter you.
Workshops are usually 2 hours with a 10 minutes break in the middle and some time at the end for questions, so maybe 70-80 minutes of teaching/activity time. Panels are 1 hour long, with about 40 minutes discussion plus 20 minutes for questions.
