**Depending on interest, not everyone is guaranteed a solo, duet, or trio. Priority will be given to past KEDC members and graduating seniors. 
If you have indicated that you are interested in doing a solo, please list your top three preferred dance styles. Please note that you are not guaranteed a dance style. This is just for us to see what styles the dancer is interested in performing. We will pick the style for your dancer based on our professional opinion.

This is just for us to see what styles the dancer is interested in performing. We will pick the style for your dancer based on our professional opinion. 
If you are interested in doing a duet or trio, please list three people that you would be interested in dancing with (in no particular order). If you are unsure, please leave this blank and we will match you to the best of our ability. Everyone will be matched by the KEDC directors and nobody is guaranteed their first three preferences.
Understudy Program: To give our dancers additional opportunities to perform and receive more instructional time, we created the Understudy Program. Dancers in this program will be assigned to a company that is separate from their own and will learn all parts of each dance and purchase each costume. In the event that a dancer is unable to perform (injured, sick, etc.), the Understudy will take their place at competitions. The Understudies must attend all of the assigned company’s classes and rehearse every part of each dance. The Understudies will perform their assigned dances at recital in addition to their own company’s dances. This gives dancers the opportunity to work with other team members outside of their usual company and also gives them more time to work on their skills and technique. To be part of the Understudy Program, dancers must have good prior attendance and competition experience. Please indicate if your dancer is interested:

Please know that all decisions regarding placement on the team and its respective companies are at the discretion of the studio owner and company directors. Results of the audition will be emailed in late June. Dancers have two weeks to accept their place on the team and review, sign, and return the company contract.
