ACDA/MCEA Fall Reading Session: Share, Sing, and raise money for Scholarships!
We will be presenting a diverse reading session on Sat. Oct. 15th from 10 am-1 pm led by Elementary School, Middle School, High School, and College/Community Choir leaders in our region. Swap choral scores that you no longer need for new-to-you complimentary scores. Finally, stay for lunch on the garden patio and reconnect with your friends and colleagues!
The event is free, but we are collecting donations toward scholarships for students in need to attend MCEA Maryland All-State Choir and ACDA Eastern Region Division Honor Choir in 2022. Help us meet our goal of raising $2,000 in scholarships!

COVID safety precautions: Due to the delta variant and high infection rates in our area, we will be requiring proof of vaccination at the door for this event (showing us your vaccine card, a picture of your vaccine card on your phone, or a photocopy of your vaccine card all work.) All participants will also be required to wear a mask indoors and while singing, either indoors or outdoors. We plan to hold the event outdoors, weather permitting, or indoors in large spaces with distancing and changes of air. If you are not fully vaccinated or would rather attend virtually, we will record the session and make it available online following the event.

By registering for/attending this event, I acknowledge that I fully understand the nature and extent of the risks presented by COVID-19 due to my in-person attendance at this event, including the risk that Covid-19 may lead to severe illness or death.  I also understand and acknowledge that there are risks of exposure to COVID-19, whether resulting from travel through high risk areas, the failure of other individuals to follow proper COVID-19 protocols, such as maintaining proper social distancing and proper hygiene measures, and other such risks. While I understand that (insert event host) has taken reasonable steps to address the risks presented by COVID-19, I recognize that the COVID-19 protocols being utilized at the event may be insufficient to prevent my contracting COVID-19 and suffering any related injuries, and that I expressly nevertheless assume all of these risks.   With full knowledge of the risks involved, therefore, I hereby release, waive, and discharge MMEA and ACDA, its officers, directors, employees, contractors, and agents, from any and all liability, loss, damage, claims, demands, actions, and causes of action whatsoever, including reasonable attorneys' fees, directly or indirectly arising out of or related to any loss, damage, injury, or death, that may be sustained by me while participating in this event or while in, on, or around the event premises that may lead to exposure or harm due to COVID-19. *
