The APS Topical Group of Statistical and Nonlinear Physics (GSNP) welcomes your suggestions for Invited Symposia at the 2023 APS March Meeting, March 6-10, 2023, in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Invited sessions consist of 5 invited talks. Invited talks are 36 minutes each (30-minute talk and 6 minutes for questions), for a total duration of 3 hours.

A successful invited session proposal typically includes a detailed discussion of why the topic of the session is interesting to the GSNP community and why it is timely. Sessions with confirmed speakers will have higher probability of being chosen.

To submit your proposal, you will need the following information:
   1. proposer(s) contact information (names, affiliation, email);
   2. session title/topic/advertising plans, and other related information;
   3. rationale for having the session;
   4. contact information for 5 invited speakers (individuals with 2022 invited technical talks are ineligible);
   5. session chair(s) contact information.

Your submission will be reviewed by the GSNP Program Committee.

Deadline:  May 27th, 2022

Notes:
1) Sessions where the speakers have agreed or tentatively agreed to participate will have higher probability of being chosen;
2) We cannot accommodate everyone’s request for placement at the meeting;
3) GSNP does not have funds to pay for invited speaker registration and/or travel to the meeting.
4) Proposers are encouraged to engage outside organizations in raising funds to cover costs for their invited speakers.
