Vortex Coaches Application 2021
The Vortex Ultimate program is looking for energetic coaches to lead and inspire the next generation of Ultimate players!!  Over the past 17 years, Vortex Ultimate has established itself as a stepping stone into the sport for many players.  Vortex alumni can be found on university, club, professional, and national teams across the nation.  We are looking to continue the tradition of providing a positive, competitive, and spirited team environment that will make memories for years to come.

Due to COVID-19, the Vortex season will not have its typical format. Practices will be structured differently and major tournaments (i.e. CUC) will not be running. We are still looking to have competitive (ish) teams as we have had in previous years. Despite this change, we hope you can help make this unique season a success!

What to expect?

Pretty chill summer with 20 kids on your team. You'll be working with other coaches too. If you're wanting to coach a more competitive team, that's completely possible too!! Nothing is off the table this year either - we want to make this a great experience for everyone!

Two weeknights per week starting at the end of June through to later August.

There might be a tourney in July (think BCUC weekend minus the stress of qualifying for CUC) and possibly another in August but nothing is even slightly official yet.
