We are always looking for helping hands on a variety of projects, from assisting with fundraising and social media outreach to supporting our events, research and education programs.

ZLI interns come from a wide range of backgrounds with a passion for making a lasting impact to save animals and protect wildlife. Interns must be 16 years of age or older in order to work with ZLI.

An internship with ZLI is a hands-on, unique experience to gain valuable work experience while supporting wildlife conservation. In addition to working closely with our small staff and volunteers, our interns also complete a final project of their own design. Internships last 2-6 months. The interns work remotely/online under supervision of their own mentor.

All internships are non-remunerated (unpaid), but Interns can decide their own schedules (minimum 10 hours per week), duration of internship, and work remotely (online) from anywhere in the world. Interns must have access to a computer and a stable internet connection.
