Thank you for your interest in the YWCA Get Out the Vote Initiative Voter's Forum on Tuesday, October 18 at 7 pm in our Gymnasium located at 304 E. Third St. Alton.

You can access the gymnasium through our parking lot on George St (access George St from 4th St as it is one way) --preferred entry for those with mobility issues.

You are also able to park on 3rd Street and entering our facility through our front doors. The gym is located on the second floor so you will need to be able to climb our stairs using this entrance.

The YWCA Get Out the Vote Initiative has organized this event so the community can hear from candidates from the following races:

Illinois State Senate District 56
Illinois House of Representatives District 111
Madison County Clerk

The program will be broken down into three segments based on the office being contested. We will start with the two candidates for State Senate, followed by the candidates for State Representative, then the County Clerk candidates. Each segment will last about 30 minutes so the Senate candidates will speak from approximately 7:10-7:40, the Representative candidates from 7:45-8:15, and the County Clerk candidates from 8:20-8:50.
