We are excited to host the following online workshops:
(1) 4-WEEK UPHOLSTERY TRAINING is designed to teach participants how to reupholster a DINING room chair. You will be provided a thorough video of the proper steps to reupholster a dining chair. Virtual sessions will be held on Thursdays from 6-7pm to give you an opportunity to learn the proper order and technique and to ask questions about your specific project. Tools to strip the chair will be loaned to you, if needed, however you will need to obtain other items to reupholster your chair including fabric and a staple gun. Training sessions are free.

(2) SEWING CLASS - the instructor is seeking SERIOUS individuals who would like to learn to sew and work with him within his business. Sewing machines will be loaned to participants. A $50 deposit is required. (To obtain a waiver of the deposit please email info@meccadc.org.) Classes will be held on Saturdays.

(3) JEWELRY-MAKING CLASS - learn the techniques of making beautiful jewelry that you can sell! A beginner's kit will be provided to allow you to make various types of jewelry. You're only limited by your imagination. Classes will be held on Saturdays.
