DESCRIPTION: I follow the “American Cursive ™ Handwriting” book and curriculum by Master Penman
Michael R. Sull. Students will learn from how to hold the pen / pencil to form the letters correctly, and be
able to write in cursive using the A.C.H. system

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR: Hong Nguyen is a Master Penman who—after devoting effort, patience, and time to penmanship—was officially certified by Master Penman Michael R. Sull, who is also the author of the “American Cursive Handwriting Book and Curriculum.” Hong has been teaching American Cursive Handwriting to children and adults since 2017. Her skill and experience in instructing people with different learning abilities is shown not only through awards, but also through the words of her students and mentors. Her goal is to help people improve and appreciate the joy that handwriting brings, and the sentiments of all those who know her show that it is well within reach."

If your children are interested in learning about and improving their everyday writing, they are welcome to attend this program. Hong is looking forward to meeting and teaching everyone who desires to progress in American Cursive Handwriting.

In this semester, she welcomes new students who have never learned to write in cursive, alongside her returning students, who will be focused on improving their skills from prior classes.

WHEN: Tuesdays from 3:15 until 4:15pm (Beginner) and 4:15-5:00 (Advanced) from November 7th through May 21st.

WHERE: Room 25

WHO: Students in grade 2nd - 8th (minimum class size of 4; maximum class size of 16)

COST: $300 per student for 26 weeks (includes materials and goodies). Returning students interested in an intermediate fountain pen should contact Hong. You will be billed through Honey Creek's PayPal account, but you MUST be registered for After Care through Honey Creek's CampDoc portal with the Health Profile completed and then you will be billed through Honey Creek's PayPal account. At this point with the school year already underway, you will need to select "After School Enrollment 2023-2024, Wednesday, September 6th."
