Trustee Requirements:
--Be between the ages of 21 and 40 years old at time of appointment.
--Live or work in the Tulsa region.

Trustee Responsibilities:
--Ensure that TYPF has strategies, timelines, and financial plans to enable the organization to meet its goals and
  objectives.

--Know and approve all TYPF policies, grant proposals, and changes in governing documents.

--Interpret the organization’s work and values to the community, represent the organization, and serve as a spokesperson.

--Excuse myself from discussions, decisions and votes where I may have a conflict of interest.

--Serve as a court of appeal.

--Attendance two-thirds of Trustee meetings per year. (Currently, TYPF Trustee meetings are held bi-monthly)

--Serve on at least one TYPF committee.
      TYPF Committees include: Communications, Grants, Partnerships & Fundraising, and Nominating and Governance.

--Make a personal financial or in-kind contribution to the organization. This may be given as a one-time donation each year or in mutually agreed to installments during the course of the year.

--Working in good faith with my fellow Trustees and staff toward the achievement of the organization’s goals.
