農曆七月，在民間習俗中被稱為鬼月，但是在佛教中，卻是非常吉祥的「孝親月」。

Every year on the seventh month of the lunar calendar, it is known as “Ghost Month”. In the Buddhist world, it is known as “ Filial Piety Month”.

八月份的盂蘭盆法會，我們將跟著僧團法師一起作廣大供養及誦持《盂蘭盆經》，希望藉由認真的誦經、供養和迴向，來報答父母與眾生恩，同時也可以在菩提路上與無量眾生結下善緣。

At the Ullambana Sutra Recitation Ceremony in August,  we will make extensive offering and recite the Ullambana Sutra together with Sangha.  May we repay our parents and all sentient beings through sincere sutra chanting, offering and devotion and form good karma with all sentient beings on the path of Buddha.
