India has a population of approximately 140 Crore among which nearly half are women. In India, Breast Cancer is the most Common Cancer in women.
Breast cancer is a disease in which abnormal breast cells grow out of control and form tumors. If left unchecked, the tumors can spread throughout the body and become fatal.
In light of the same, the Delhi Judicial Reforms Council, NJRC- WICCI has organised a campaign on “Breast Cancer Awareness.” The two Nodal Speakers, Dr. Mansi Chowhan who an Oncoplastic Breast Surgeon with experience of more than 14 years and Ms. Akriti Gupta, the founder of for-profit Canfem and the not-for-profit Win Over Cancer. With eight years of experience working with the cancer value chain, she has personally interacted with thousands of cancer warriors.
