Laurel Highlands Backpacking Signup Fall 2021

On Saturday, September 25th around 10am we will be leaving for the Laurel Highlands Hiking Trail. We will be doing about 7.5 miles of hiking from the parking lot to a campsite deep in the woods where there is only an outhouse, a stream and an emergency access road. Our hike will take us through Seven Springs Resort offering great views and some other overlook points. We will hike out on Sunday after breakfast and be back to Oakland by 2:30pm on Sunday. All campers will have to carry all their gear and food to the campsite. The club owns a water filter device and some camp stoves. We have backpacks, tents, sleeping bags/pads to lend out, but in limited quantity.
