VDAY Crew Application
WELCOME TO VDAY AT BOWLING GREEN STATE UNIVERSITY!!!

BGSU VDAY, (formerly The Vagina Monologues), will look a little different this year with having the unique challenge of creating our show from scratch. Nicole and Tavala (the Co-Directors) have decided to branch out into the community and our BGSU student pool to see who is interested in becoming a part of our vision and performing, producing and helping us put on our very own production here at Bowling Green State University that furthers our VDAY commitment to end violence against all women (cisgender, transgender, and those who hold fluid identities that are subject to gender-based violence), girls and the planet. They cannot guarantee that everyone that auditions will be admitted, however, they are determined to have a diverse cast of people who are performing monologues similar or in line with their own personal identities.

*The Vagina Monologues is an episodic play written by V (Eve Ensler) which developed and premiered at HERE Arts Center, Off-Off-Broadway in New York and was followed by an Off-Broadway run in 1996 at Westside Theatre. The play explores consensual and nonconsensual sexual experiences, body image, genital mutilation, direct and indirect encounters with reproduction, vaginal care, menstrual periods, sex work, and several other topics through the eyes of women with various ages, races, sexualities, and other differences.

The crew application will remain open until November 13th
The crew list will be sent out to all who applied on November 17th.
Show performance takes place at the end of February.
