Our Lunada Bay Fundraiser is fast approaching and the PTA has put together a memorable night to not only raise funds for our school but also celebrate our community. Hosted parties are one of the best features of our fundraiser - a great way for our school community to get together for some fun that benefits a good cause. 100% of the proceeds from ticket sales go to the Lunada Bay PTA, so your party is considered a donation to the school and a huge benefit to our community! If you haven't been to one of these parties, ask another parent - they are so much fun. Parties will be included in our online auction that will launch around February 17. No

Tip: A common approach to the tricky question of what to list as Fair Market Value (FMV) on items where someone is hosting a party, outing, activity and/or classroom projects is to base the FMV on the cost of food/materials/venue, etc. This will provide documentation so the donor(s) can claim a charitable contribution for their out of pocket expenses and buyers can claim the difference between what they paid and the FMV. These items are usually flagged to display as Priceless! to the public.
