Neighborhood Roots Board Member Interest Form
Thank you for your interest in joining the Neighborhood Roots board!

Neighborhood Roots operates the Fulton, Kingfield, & Nokomis Farmers Markets in South Minneapolis.  Our mission is to bring neighbors together to buy, eat, and learn about local food. We support local farmers, promote vibrant community and locally owned businesses, and affect important changes in food and agriculture policy.

We are currently accepting applications of interest via this form on a rolling basis through October 2021 to fill open spaces on this year's board; in November we begin the process to fill vacancies in the next calendar year (one year terms). We are especially interested in experience with nonprofit finance and fundraising.

We are committed to providing an environment of mutual respect where diversity is valued, supported and celebrated to benefit our entire organization. Women, members of the LGBTQ+ community, people of color, and people from indigenous communities are strongly encouraged to apply.
