Thank you for your possible interest in participating in SGA as a Committee Director in the future.

Cabinet committees are specialized SGA committees that take on self-generated projects for the benefit of the student body. The directors of these committees facilitate a large amount of change at Middlebury College. It is for this reason that these positions should be given to people who want to see the benefit of the community. Committee success is in part based on the determination and drive of the committee's leader.

I will be compiling the names of interested people into a list that will be made available for students to see (if you do not want your name shown it can be redacted; it is, however, suggested that unnamed individuals give more information as it relates to why they want the position/what they wish to accomplish). If elected, I will take student input into account when choosing who the new directors are. This is all in order to increase transparency.

I want this to be a movement towards a more transparent SGA and a body that is equipped to represent students best. I am hopeful we can have this chance together. Please help move towards hearing more student voices in our student government and vote Myles Maxie for SGA President on April 16th, 2020.
