Summer Reading Program "Adventure Begins at Your Library": Saturday June 8 - Sunday August 4, 2024


S*T*A*R Volunteer Program has been renamed by our 2023-24 Teen Advisory Board and is now the Strive to Volunteer Program (Strive Volunteers for short). 

Book Buddies is now a separate program, Strive includes our SRP Table volunteers and Program volunteers and welcomes students entering grades 7-12.

Please return this application no later than Friday, May 10, 2024, at 6:00 pm. For general questions about the Strive to Volunteer program, email dgrube@deerfieldlibrary.org.

Summer Reading Program (SRP) Volunteers will: work shifts at our summer reading sign-up table, decorate the library/youth department, write book reviews, and create booklists, posters and blog posts.

Program Volunteers will: come to youth programs to assist staff during the programs, as well as help setting up and cleaning up as needed.
