SHOW DESCRIPTION:
Mentally Sound is a 3-Person original musical production that tours schools and engages High School students in important Mental Health discussions.
Best described as a 1 Hour pop-rock interactive concert, it's performed by three exceptional vocalists, delivering an engaging and dynamic take on mental health that serves to educate students and spread awareness about critical topics such as body image, self-esteem, depression, and anxiety.
The characters are introduced to the audience through a big opening number, and throughout the show each takes centre stage to discover their own personal struggles alongside their captive audience. The show aims to educate students that we all have mental health, that it can be fragile, and must be managed carefully.
CONTRACT PERIOD:
Rehearsals - Monday 19th February to Friday 23rd February
Performances - Monday 26th February to Thursday 28th March
INDICATIVE PAYMENT:
Total contract expected to pay approximately $7500, at an average of 3 days per week booked. Each day, excluding travel, is 3 - 5 Hours in length including setup and packdown, often finishing before 1pm. Single day is $240 to $340 + Travel Rates + Super. This depends on number of shows per week, as payment is based on actual events performed, and is variable based on number of shows in a day, distance travelled, and additional applied travel rates. Full breakdown provided during interview process. Travel rates are paid for all out of area events (which is any event +45mins from Parramatta). For travel events, overnights come with additional payments, with per diems added, and all travel costs covered, including vehicle and fuel for out-of-area events.
