Vocal Tract Imaging II
Thank you for your interest in participating in our study. The purpose of this study is to image the moving vocal tract (e.g., airway, tongue, lips etc.), to further an understanding of human spoken language (planning, production and use) in adults with normal speech as well as patients with tongue lesions (pre and post glossectomy).

Participation will include one Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) session in which images will be taken and your voice may be recorded that will take approximately 1 hour. The investigational (not for diagnostic purposes) MRI scanner is located at the Dynamic Imaging Science Center in the Michelson Building on the USC University Park Campus. Study participants are compensated $100 to be received at the conclusion of their participation. The cost of parking, and transportation if needed, will be paid by the study.
