NON-PROFIT: SECOND HARVEST OF SOUTH GEORGIA (MEMBER OF FEEDING AMERICA)

Second Harvest of South Georgia is the leading hunger-relief organization in the region and the second largest food bank in the state.  They serve a nearly 12,000 square mile region made up of 26 counties, providing support to more than 400 partner agencies through a variety of programs including the Food Bank, Kids Cafe, Mobile Food Pantry, and Teachers’ Harvest among others.

WHAT WE WILL BE DOING

We will be building and preparing pantry boxes for distribution to families with children or seniors.

CLOTHING REQUIREMENTS

No open toe shoes (flip flops/sandals) or Crocs allowed. No loose fitting clothes. Dress for the weather, we are an open warehouse. 

NOTES

  • This event is for ages 13+. Children 13-18 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian and must be supervised by parent/guardian at all times.  

This seRV event is being hosted by George and Paula Roberts of @SunsetsandCampfires. We look forward to spending the morning creating a positive impact at Second Harvest of South Georgia!
