ANGARI Foundation, Friends of MacArthur Beach State ParkManatee LagoonPalm Beach County Department of Environmental Resources Management (PBC ERM) and the Lake Worth Lagoon Initiative invite educators of middle and high school students in Palm Beach County to apply for their summer 2025 workshop! This FREE program will take place July 14-17th and will provide hands-on and immersive STEM education opportunities based on current marine research and conservation efforts in Palm Beach County coastal waters. Participating educators will receive experiences, knowledge, resources and inspiration to share with their students and colleagues. For tentative agenda and additional workshop details, visit https://angari.org/lwl-edu-workshop.

ELIGIBILITY: This opportunity is open to STEM educators working with middle to high school aged students in Palm Beach County (participating teachers from The School District of Palm Beach County will be eligible to apply for in-service credit). Capacity is limited and slots are only open until filled so apply today!

The workshop is provided at no cost to selected participants. Travel to/from workshop sites around Palm Beach County & overnight accommodations if necessary are the responsibility of the participant. 

Note: While preference will be given to new workshop participants, those who participated in the Summer 2024 LWL Workshop are still eligible to apply.
