• All students participating in the FFA Agriculture Contests must be bona fide FFA or 4-H members, currently enrolled as high school agriculture education students. They must meet all enrollment and/or certification of eligibility requirements.

• Registration will begin at the contest site(s) at 8:00 a.m.

• Each contest, except Agricultural Shop, will consist of up to 8 individuals, with the first 4 considered a team. Only one team per school. Agricultural Shop contest is limited to one team of up to 4 individuals.

• The results of individual contests will be announced beginning at 2:00 p.m. in the Colbert Ag & Science Building (SA) 121. Plaques will be awarded to the top 3 overall teams in each contest, and medallions to the top 3 individuals. A Sweepstakes plaque will also be awarded to the school accumulating the most points. The point scale is as follows: Individual placings- 1st place (5 points), 2nd place (4 points), 3rd place (3 points), 4th place (2 points), & 5th place (1 point). Team placings- 1st place (10 points), 2nd place (8 points), 3rd place (6 points), 4th place (4 points), & 5th place (2 points).

• Each senior who is high individual overall in any of the contests will be eligible for a tuition waiver to MSC which will cover up to sixteen hours of tuition costs for the 2022-2023 academic year, provided they meet entry and financial aid requirements. A student receiving this scholarship must take at least 12 credit hours at Murray State College with a declared major in agriculture or veterinary nursing. This tuition waiver must be used by the Fall 2022 academic year. It is the responsibility of the recipient to notify the MSC Financial Aid office by August 15, 2022 of their award.

• Any individual or team caught cheating on any portion of a contest will be disqualified from the contest. Any alterations to a test after a contest has been completed will be grounds for disqualification as well. Disqualification of an individual or team is at the discretion of the contest superintendent.

• Murray State College reserves the right to modify contests as needed to accommodate any COVID- 19 limitations. We also reserve the right to cancel any and/or all contests, up to the day before our contest (Tuesday, April 5).
